Sign Up to Teach Art In the Classroom!

Art in the Classroom (AIC) is a PTO-sponsored program that gives you an opportunity to volunteer in your child's class. Students learn about different artists in each grade, exposing them to a variety of famous works of art during their time at Washington. The best part–all materials and lesson plans are provided! 5th Grade Activity Chairs: coordinate fundraising, 5th grade end of year party, and yearbook/end of year video committees (washingtonPTO.07901@gmail.com) 

5th Grade Show Chair: coordinate the logistics for after-school rehearsals (which Mr. Steele will be leading) and recruit volunteers to support the March performance. (washingtonpto.07901@gmail.com)

Hospitality Group: thank our amazing Washington School staff throughout the year by planning themed stock-the-staff lounge opportunities and acknowledging other important helpers on special days (Amy amymormak@gmail.com)

Summit Education Foundation Representatives: volunteers from all eight of the district’s schools whose primary focus is to encourage enthusiasm and awareness about SEF with their respective schools by working with, and supporting, SEF’s Communications and Events Chairs (washingtonpresidentPTO@gmail.com)

Garden Club: maintain the outdoor pollinator garden, help create new opportunities for students to participate (Craig - craig.engler@gmail.com)
