Winter After School Enrichment

The winter session will run January 7–February 12 with classes held Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:05–4:05pm.

Washington International Night

To celebrate the diversity within the Washington Community we are celebrating the first Annual International Night. We are looking for parents to share unique aspects of their culture: perhaps a special food, childrens game or craft, and cultural items. Families will go from table to table learning about different cultures and countries. Please sign up here and note which country you will be representing. Thank you!

Join Our Book Club Discussion!

As we prepare for the district-wide seminar with Summer Snyder, we’re excited to offer a parent book club discussion on Belonging Through a Culture of Dignity. This conversation will help deepen our understanding of this year’s theme, Honoring Dignity, and allow us to connect as a community before the seminar.

Book Club Discussion
Thursday, February 5th at 6:30 PM
Washington School Library

We’ll explore key ideas from the book and discuss how we can support dignity and belonging within our school community. All parents and caregivers are welcome, whether you’ve read the entire book or are just getting started.

We hope you’ll join us for an engaging and meaningful conversation ahead of the district-wide event.

PLEASE RSVP HERE.

Sign Up to Teach Art In the Classroom!

Art in the Classroom (AIC) is a PTO-sponsored program that gives you an opportunity to volunteer in your child's class. Students learn about different artists in each grade, exposing them to a variety of famous works of art during their time at Washington. The best part–all materials and lesson plans are provided! Sign up to volunteer now and learn more about the program here.
